The OPEN GHANA team on 17th December 2024 commenced work on the establishment of the dry season garden for the Dinga, Tigla, and Gbang communities in the Savelugu district in the Northern Region of Ghana. These communities have been allocated a shared piece of land for the project.
Our team began by demarcating places for digging holes to install the metal poles required for the garden's fencing.
We will keep you updated on further progress as the work advances.
This project is aimed at mitigating the impact of climate change on smallholder farmers (Women,Youth and PWDs).
