Open Ghana is a socio-economic development NGO founded on 26th November, 2015.We are located in Tamale, Ghana West Africa. Our vision is to become the leading NGO in Northern Ghana providing innovative and high impact development interventions to our stakeholders in Ghana by unlocking opportunities for sustainable development through innovations and partnerships.
Our key objectives include to: promote the adaption of innovative practices, tools and technologies among vulnerable communities and groups, mitigate the impact of climate change and promote locally led adaptations, increase community resilience against climate change for improved livelihoods and incomes, promote sustainable agriculture and promote socio-economic development.

Our goal is to contribute to improved socio-economic wellbeing of the poor and vulnerable in rural northern Ghana.
Aim/Objectivess:
Our aims/objectives are to:
- Create awareness on climate change among vulnerable people(women, youth and persons with disabilities) and communoties
- provide business/technical development support services to women, youth and persons with disabilities led enterprises
- promote social and economic development in Ghana especially among the rural poor.
- strengthen the institutional capacities of agribusinesses and farmer-based organizations for improved productivity, food security and incomes.
- develop crop value chains especially rice, maize, soy beans, groundnuts, sorghum, cowpea and vegetables
- promote the use of improved agricultural technologies among farmers for improved yields
- facilitate access to credit, input and output markets for agribusinesses and farmer-based organizations
- offer training, coaching and mentoring services to agricultural value chain actors
- campaign, lobby and advocate for favourable policies for our constituents, in as much as such policies will contribute to their socio-economic development and well-being.
- conduct research on agriculture and socio-economic related issues and share our findings with relevant stakeholders
